SBH Queensland2007 Southern Cross Association Poker run
The Poker Run is a 5 day event through country Queensland which covers nearly 3,000 km and is believed to be the longest in Australia. The 2007 Poker Run started at Lowood Sportsgrounds on Monday 3rd September. After breakfast everyone headed to Goondiwindi to spend Monday night. Tuesday night was at Chinchilla. On Wednesday the run went to Moura, Thursday to Moranbah and the run ended in Bowen on Friday 7th September. The 2008 Poker Run will be in North Queensland from 1st - 5th September. This year it will start at Moura and finish at Ingham. For more details please see the 2008 Poker Run webpage on the Southern Cross website. Every year many organisations donate holidays and prizes for the Poker Run.
